Speaking to reporters in Causapscal, Que., on Wednesday, Bloc Québécois leader Yves-François Blanchet said he has “no reasons to believe” Liberal leader Mark Carney would protect Quebec’s language laws during trade negotiations with U.S. President Donald Trump. Blanchet’s remark comes a day after the U.S. listed Bill 96 as a foreign trade barrier.
