Cory Booker lambasts Trump for 25 hours, breaks 1957 record for longest Senate filibuster

Beginning Monday evening, and ending 25 hours later, New Jersey Senator Cory Booker carried a scathing speech warning of President Donald Trump鈥檚 鈥済rave and urgent鈥 threat to the U.S. into Tuesday morning. After breaking 1957鈥檚 24-hour, 18-minute record for longest speech on the Senate floor, Sen. Chuck Schumer interrupted Booker to congratulate him.
