Effective Sept. 1, 2025, the Alberta government’s Child and Youth Support Program will end. The funding helps caregivers support those whose parents or guardians were unable or unwilling to care for them. Caregivers and advocates say this is a blow to a system that works. Jaclyn Kucey reports
