Poilievre promises ‘one-and-done’ approach for natural resource projects as PM
Description
April 7, 2025
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is promising a "one-and-done" approach to approving natural resource projects if he becomes prime minister. Speaking in Terrace, B.C., he rolled out a plan to speed up approval processes for major resource projects. Poilievre said each project would have one application and one environmental review. He said he would work with the provinces to create a single office that would coordinate project approvals across all levels of government.
