In the latest move in the U.S. and China鈥檚 unfolding trade war, Beijing raised tariffs on incoming American goods to 125 per cent 鈥 up from 84 per cent 鈥 inching closer to the 145 per cent levies President Donald Trump has imposed on Chinese-made goods. Though she said Friday Trump was 鈥渙ptimistic鈥 about reaching a tariff deal with China, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt warned Friday that 鈥渋f China continues to retaliate, it’s not good for China.鈥
