U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff was face-to-face with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg this week. The trip comes one month after Russia rejected the trump administration’s proposal for a “full and unconditional ceasefire.” But despite the movement, one expert says, Russia and Ukraine are nowhere near an agreement.
