On Thursday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford said that the government is moving forward on the agreement with a European spa company after reports it exaggerated its success to land a lucrative deal in Toronto. Ford said that all submissions for the luxury spa project at Ontario Place underwent comprehensive evaluations, including a financial review. “We have no reason to believe there’s been any wrongdoing. We’re moving forward with this project,” he said.
