Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a temporary ceasefire in Ukraine Saturday 鈥渂ased on humanitarian considerations鈥 during Easter. Putin warned troops will remain on high alert for potential violations 鈥渂y the enemy,鈥 adding that he assumes Ukraine will 鈥渇ollow our example.鈥 As air raid sirens wail throughout Ukraine, residents seem doubtful Putin will honour the ceasefire.
