Thousands gathered at the Vatican for the annual Easter Sunday service and to pray for the continued recovery of Pope Francis. The 88-year-old wasn’t at the mass but gave a brief speech afterwards at St. Peter’s Square. The pontiff was discharged from hospital nearly a month ago after being bedridden with double pneumonia.
