“Dancing with Parkinson’s” arrived in Peterborough on Tuesday.
The Toronto-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with Parkinson’s Disease launched its first weekly dance class at Canterbury Gardens.
The class aims to offer physical movement, and social interaction to help combat the physical complications and isolation often associated with the disease.
The program is able to expand and re-open locations closed during the pandemic with help from the Parkinson’ss Canada care fund.
