The city of Pickering is putting the brakes on a massive project. The Seaton Recreation Complex and Library was supposed to be a state-of-the-art facility in a rapidly expanding neighbourhood, but economic uncertainty, including the impact of U.S. tariffs, has caused council to reconsider.
