Ontario’s police watchdog is investigating a police-involved shooting in the nation’s capital. Officers responded to call involving a person with a firearm in the Sparks Street area Tuesday afternoon. After locating the suspect near the Rideau Centre and during an altercation, an officer discharged their firearm. The suspect was struck and taken to hospital. They are in stable condition.
