Fewer children and youth are ending up in the ER or being hospitalized for mental health disorders, according to the Canadian Institute for Health Information. Researchers are cautiously optimistic about the trend, however as health reporter Katherine Ward explains, they say are some groups that still don’t have equal access to support.
