An estimated 4500 Canadians are living with cystic fibrosis, an increase of more than 40 per cent since 2003. There is no cure for the disease. But there is hope, as fundraisers like the ‘Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History’ raise money for research and healthcare programs. Global Peterborough intern Kent Stevens has the details.
