In an executive order signed late Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump ordered the corporation for public broadcasting to stop distributing federal funding to National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). Trump has long been critical of both outlets, which are publicly and privately funded, for being “biased” and “leftist.” Candice Cole reports.
