Lights, camera… tariffs? The film industry is the latest sector to be affected by trade policy changes from U.S. President Donald Trump. The Trump Administration announced a 100 per cent tariff on all films produced outside of the United States. Matt Demers, a movie reviewer and voting member of the Critics’ Choice Awards, joins Miranda Anthistle to discuss the potential impact of these measures on the Canadian film industry and beyond.
