Two fatal fires earlier this year deemed accidental, had no working smoke detectors

Two fatal fires that happened in January – one in Lower Sackville and the other in Dartmouth – have been deemed accidental by Halifax Fire. Neither home had functioning smoke detectors, something Halifax Fire says is necessary for saving lives. Angela Capobianco reports.
