A group of young female Indigenous hockey players got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet some of their PWHL heroes on Thursday. It’s all thanks to a special initiative to inspire the next generation of female players. As Global’s Phil Carpenter reports, the event is a reminder of the power of sports to bring communities together.
