Canada’s labour market stalled in April, according to the latest numbers from Statistics Canada. As Andrea Macpherson reports, the national and B.C. unemployment rates both ticked higher, as the effects of Donald Trump’s trade war started to drag on the economy with the manufacturing and hospitality sectors seeing significant job losses.
