During the intimate service inside the Sistine Chapel, the pope called on his fellow cardinals to support him in his new mission as leader of the Catholic Church. Plus, there are new signs that Canada’s economy is starting to feel the strain from U.S. tariffs, as the unemployment rate in April ticked up from 6.7 to 6.9 per cent. And, the U.S. and China are set to meet in Geneva this weekend to resolve a trade war sparked by U.S. President’s enormous tariffs on Chinese imports.
