President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that the U.S. will lift long-standing sanctions on Syria on a trip to the Gulf. The surprise announcement about sanctions on Syria would be a huge boost for a country that has been shattered by more than a decade of civil war. During his speech, Trump also talked about the ceasefire the U.S. helped broker between Iran and Pakistan, his administration鈥檚 intentions to get a ceasefire in Ukraine and an offer the U.S. has on the table for Iran that Trump says 鈥渨on鈥檛 last forever.鈥
