A swim club in Peterborough revived its popular showcase on the weekend, marking its return following the COVID-19 pandemic
Kawartha Artistic Swimming hosted its “Splash Bash” swim shows on Friday and Saturday evenings.
More than 60 competitors took to the pool at Trent University.
The sport combines aspects of swimming, dance and gymnastics into routines accompanied by music.
It’s the first time the event has been held since 2019 due the pandemic, pool upgrades and declining enrolment.
However, registration numbers have increased the past year as the club focuses on further restoration and growth.
