Manitoba RCMP reported Wednesday that two bodies, believed to be those of an adult male and female, were recovered near Wendigo Road in Lac du Bonnet, Man. Officials believe they succumbed to injuries sustained in the wildfire. While the identities of the individuals have not been confirmed pending autopsy results, authorities noted that they were aware the victims had become trapped in the fire due to “extreme conditions.”
