Poilievre calls on Carney to table budget, criticizes Liberals for delaying

At a press conference on Thursday, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre called on Prime Minister Mark Carney to table a federal budget, criticizing the Liberals for delaying key fiscal decisions. Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne says the government is focusing on a middle-class tax cut and will outline priorities in the May 26 throne speech.
