Alberta Energy Regulator approves Grassy Mountain coal exploration

The Alberta Energy Regulator has given the green light for Australian-owned mining company Northback Holdings to explore for coal at the Grassy Mountain site near Crowsnest Pass. Many Albertans who live east of the mine have raised environmental concerns about the contentious project. As Jordan Prentice tells us, they’re disappointed by the decision, but aren’t surprised.
