It was a disturbing day at the trial of a man accused of murdering a woman in broad daylight near McGill University in 2021. François Pelletier, 39, is representing himself in court as he fights a first-degree murder charge in the death of Romane Bonnier, an artist he had a brief relationship with. Multiple former McGill students who witnessed the alleged crime took the stand and then the jury was shown stunning surveillance video that rocked the court room. Global’s Dan Spector reports.
