Canada has confirmed it’s in talks with the U.S. about possibly its planned “Golden Dome” defence system. And like Israel’s Iron Dome, the estimated $500 billion project would intercept rockets and missiles. The partnership is being proposed as both countries are locked in a trade war and as Prime Minister Mark Carney vows to reduce American dependence. Touria Izri reports.
