Ontario Premier Doug Ford was in Trent Hills today (May 21) to spotlight new hospital funding in last week’s new provincial budget.
First announced in late 2022, the Campus of Care project proposes a new 50-bed hospital, a long-term care home and other clinics to replace the aging Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
As Marc Woodhouse tells us, the new money is allocated for planning purposes.
But as for when shovels will actually be in the ground, that remains unclear.
