An eyewitness on Tuesday described how “joy and celebration turned into horror and panic” when a car ploughed into a crowd of Liverpool fans during a Premier League title parade. A 53-year-old man from West Derby, in Liverpool, was in custody after being arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous driving offences and driving while unfit through drugs, police said.
