Delivering the speech from the throne in Ottawa on Tuesday, King Charles III of Canada outlined the Liberal government’s priorities for the coming session of Parliament. Charles admitted that many Canadians are feeling “anxious” about the changing global trade order, but added he believed that there also existed an opportunity for the Canadian economy. Charles added that Prime Minister Mark Carney and U.S. President Donald Trump were working on a “new economic and security relationship.”
