Steve Roberts, vice president of operations for the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency, said Tuesday that the province is facing a “very busy and aggressive” wildfire season, with 21 fires currently active in the province and 205 wildfires year-to-date – which is well above the 5-year-average for the province.
