The province announced a new public safety initiative Friday morning. It’s meant to cut down on theft and vandalism, while also targeting repeat offenders. The province is allocating $5 million for this project, the same amount the City of Vancouver is spending on the VPD’s Task Force Barrage. Keith Baldrey has more on how this program will work.
