U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on Saturday warned allies in the Indo-Pacific region that China poses an 鈥渋mminent鈥 threat to Taiwan and the greater Indo-Pacific region. Speaking at a security conference in Singapore, he said that China was not only building up forces but 鈥渁ctively training every day鈥 to take Taiwan by 2027.
