British Columbia Premier David Eby spoke Saturday ahead of a trade mission to Asia. Eby addressed asks by Alberta Premier Danielle Smith about an energy corridor to the B.C. coast, saying they’ve come to agreement on a number of issues but that he wasn’t aware of any pipeline proposals. Asked about selling trade proposals to Asian markets and the opposition B.C. has faced from First Nations in the past, Eby said his government is going to push potential investors to work with First Nations by having them partner through a government credit facility.
