During a press conference on Monday Acting United States Attorney for the district of Colorado, J.​​ J. Bishop Grewell, announced that the suspect in Sunday’s attack on in Boulder, Colorado, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, is being charged with a commission of a hate crime. Armed with a makeshift flamethrower and allegedly yelling “Free Palestine!” police allege Soliman threw an incendiary device, likely a Molotov cocktail, into a group that had gathered to raise attention for Israeli hostages in Gaza.
