Speaking to reporters on Capital Hill in Washington, DC on Wednesday, U.S. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson conveyed his “disappointment” in Elon Musk’s recent comments strongly critical of President Donald Trump’s new spending bill, aka the “big beautiful bill.” Johnson said he spoke to Musk the night before he made his comments, and expressed how in view Musk’s opinion on the controversial new spending bill is “flat out wrong.”
