A 51-year-old man with ties to al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden has been arrested in Montreal after allegedly threatening to carry out a mass attack. Mohamed Abdullah Warsame, a Canadian citizen born in Somalia, reportedly told a shelter worker he planned to kill a large number of people. He previously served prison time in the U.S. for providing material support to al-Qaeda and was deported to Canada after his release.
