WATCH: STARS Air Ambulance is celebrating 40 years providing critical care and saving lives. STARS started in 2012 in Saskatchewan. Chief operations officer Mike Lamacchia says last year Saskatoon and Regina bases flew just under 1,000 missions to provide service for those critically ill and injured. STARS Lottery launches Friday, June 6 to directly support air ambulance operations.
