A porcupine that was accidentally transported more than 870 kilometres from northern British Columbia to Kelowna has been returned home in style. The spiney stowaway, dubbed Mackenzie for the area she was found in, was found hidden in a plane wreck that was being moved, and was sent to the Interior Wildlife Rehabilitation Society for care. On Friday, she was flown home thanks to one animal-loving pilot and donations from the community.
