While most of Montreal was sleeping, the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) government adopted a controversial law. The government invoked closure on Bill 69, fast-tracking debate and forcing its adoption. Bill 69 aims to double the province’s energy production. Meanwhile, residents of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG) celebrated the long-awaited opening of a new recreational space, seen as essential not only for keeping kids engaged but also for fostering youth development and community building.
