Prime Minister Mark Carney said Monday, as part of an announcement about increasing spending on Canada’s defence and security, that the country should no longer send 75 per cent of its defence capital spending to the U.S. He said Canada would prioritize “made-in-Canada manufacturing and supply chains.”
