Canada should no longer send 75% of defence capital spending to the U.S., Carney says

Prime Minister Mark Carney said Monday, as part of an announcement about increasing spending on Canada鈥檚 defence and security, that the country should no longer send 75 per cent of its defence capital spending to the U.S. He said Canada would prioritize 鈥渕ade-in-Canada manufacturing and supply chains.鈥
