Liberal Housing Minister Gregor Robertson shot back at Conservative Melissa Lantsman on Monday during question period in the House of Commons, replying that he “frankly, was not surprised to hear the confusion from the other side of the house when you put the words ‘affordable’ and ‘housing’ together,” the former Vancouver Mayor snidely remarked. Robertson have been replying to Lantsman’s comment that Robertson had “increased home prices 179 per cent in just eight years in Vancouver.” Meanwhile, MP Michael Barrett said the Conservatives have tabled a motion in the House that would force the Liberals to “finally, put forward a fiscally responsible budget.”
