Last week, the Blood Tribe Department of Health in Alberta announced the closure of the White Calf Shelter in Stand Off. Originally envisioned as a community hall, the facility transitioned into an emergency shelter in 2022 and is scheduled to close its doors on June 16. As Jordan Prentice tells us, some who live there are concerned about where they will go.
