From fresh produce to vintage finds, Toronto is celebrating the vital role local public markets play throughout the city. Whether it’s by providing a space to gather, to boost the local economy, and connect communities with local vendors, markets are the backbone of many communities. This is a seven-day event to support more than 130 markets and local jobs within the community. Lexy Benedict reports.Â
