Calgary teen’s health declining as family waits for Jordan’s Principle funding

An Indigenous woman is pleading for help as she struggles to cover mounting medical bills needed to care for her son with a chronic auto-immune disorder. The Calgary mother has applied for support through Jordan’s Principle, a program designed to help First Nations youth seeking medical care.
