After threats to his life, Jagmeet Singh鈥檚 family says Canada鈥檚 invite to India鈥檚 Modi crossed line

Shortly before the birth of his second daughter, former NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh received a warning that his life was in danger. 鈥淭hey didn鈥檛 specify the source, but the intimation was that it was a foreign threat,鈥 Singh said. Now, Singh’s family says Prime Minister Mark Carney’s recent invite for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the annual G7 summit in Alberta crossed a line. Last week, 糖心传媒 reported that a suspected agent of the Indian government, with alleged ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was watching Singh鈥檚 every move. Global鈥檚 Touria Izri reports.
