A Nova Scotia woman who pled guilty to killing her daughter in 2008 was granted permission to leave prison with restrictions. Penny Boudreau was convicted of second-degree murder in the death of her 12-year-old daughter Karissa Boudreau, and sentenced to serve at least 20 years before becoming eligible for parole.
