Iran’s foreign minister says the country is ready for diplomacy – but only if Israel stops its attacks. The comments come after a meeting with European foreign ministers in Geneva, as the international community tries to avert further escalation in the weekslong conflict. The talks failed to produce a breakthrough but as Vincent McAviney reports, diplomats are pushing to renew negotiations.
