As an extremely hot heat wave takes over Toronto, the city is providing ways for residents to cool off as part of its Heat Relief Strategy. This includes extended hours for outdoor pools. However, the city is taking some heat for the closure of some pools on the first day of the heat wave over the weekend. The city, now taking steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Lexy Benedict reports.
