Peterborough Humane Society celebrates trail opening during Pet Fest

It was a day to celebrate the furry friends in our lives at “Pet Fest” hosted by the Peterborough Humane Society.

Families and their pets gathered Saturday for a day of activities at the shelter on Technology Drive.

Events included a pet-themed market, dog agility demostrations and games for kids.

The day was highlighted by the official opening of the new Peterborough Animal Care Centre Trail.

A ribbon cutting was held for the Mitsubishi Mile to mark the first section of the trail now open to the public.
